While driving earlier today through Alabama ….. I was listening to ‘NPR Now’ on satellite radio ……… they had a program about Tucson Arizona in their ‘State of the Reunion’ slot ………. Tucson ……. Yeah, it really is a surprising place ……… I know ……… I was there last week ……… it has a kind of alternative vibe ……… quite hard to define ….. But it is something to do with the desert ……… the heat ………… something to do with the border …….. Something to do with the people that live there ……… and the people it continues to attract ……….. I made this selfie picture above in the bathroom of a kind of alternative coffee shop appropriately called “Shot in the Dark’ hehehehehe……. :-)))))))…….. Thinking of Arizona NPR, and cool folks we came across in Tucson we met with Andrea Kelly who works with the NPR affiliate but is just about to start her own PBS TV Show ‘Metro Week’ :-))))))))) She was great ……. just a great, knowledgeable, lovely person …….. you should definitely check out her new show if you can pick up the PBS 6 signal carrying it :-)))))))))))))))))))) XXXXXXXXXX

- Moved out to Tuscon away from NYC as a small child and we were hit by a Tornado that completely wrecked our new home…houses were dirt cheap and they were advertising in NYC to get people to move there..anyway, we hid in a bathroom with no windows and when we came out the living room roof was gone…back to NYC to live in Grandmas basement til we got on our feet again…If it weren’t for that Tornado, I’d still have bleach blond hair, blisters on my feet from the sidewalk…but I’d be in that cafe filling my water pistol with pickle juice hahaha Safe travels bro

- That was a close call bro ……. you almost missed out on your Kingdom and your golden throne :-))))) hehehehe……… Tuscon is an interesting and a way chilled place ……. with a very individual vibe …….. but man the heat ….. and when I was there last week it was only just starting to get going…… it was way way hot and dry…… but thats not the beginning of it ….. by the time its the real summer its like living on the sun…… Anyway your folks were probably right ……. You know I’ve been taking the threat of tornadoes way serriously since I was in Joplin and More I really believe in them now ….. Before in a way my little Brit self almost unconsciously thought Tornados were just something to do with The Wizzard of Oz and not really a real threat …….. - Yeah they were leading on all news channels even here in Mississippi ……. and I saw her on CNN ……… Mr Bloater and the rest of ’em have been swilling in cash for years ……. that 2022 decision always seemed like it could have only been made for one reason ??…… and what about the Russian 2018 one ???? no one is even going there??? - Couldn’t agree with you (or SB more) FIFA seemed to think that is perfectly acceptable to treat the genuine passion for Football that millions of people around the world feel, and treat it with utterly cynical, self serving contempt, stick their snouts in the trough and think that there won’t be any consequences……..Viva SB!!

- Its true ……. suddenly I was frozen ……. hehehe……. well not quite since then I have been back to Mexico back to Atlanta …… back to louisinanna …… Alabama……. Mississippi …… the n Lousiana again……. in fact I went forward and backwards about 6 times between LA and MS ……. then finally I thought I had left LA for good as it were …….. drove 6 hours outta there ……. ran into a friend of mine……. with a private jet…….. and 40 mins later I was back in LA where I am now….. hehehehe…….
