Storm Trees; Marsh Harbour Bahamas

Storm Trees; Marsh Harbour Bahamas

jez_rain3_bahamas_0306_1534 I guess even even the Bahamas has to have some rain. In fact buckets of it in one go, thats what keeps it green and lush. This image I made on my hotel rooms balcony this morning at 7AM, by 8AM I was walking to breakfast in the open air in glorious sunshine. The focus in this shot is directly on the rain, I am not shooting through a glass window. There has to be an awful lot of rain for that to work. Im using a 70mm lens. The wind is whipping the palm trees into a frenzy, I like the way they look and they give a darker tone backdrop to see the rain against.

  • I like the fact that you captured the palm trees in the rain as opposed to the stock sunny day. Very nice.
