So its a big night of celebration for the Dems! They have taken the Congress and are still in with a fighting chance (as I post this at 2-30 AM) of capturing the Senate! I shot this at the big Democrat’s Party at the Hyatt on the Hill in Washington DC. Just after 1 a.m., Democrats had won 218 seats, enough to control the House….. the celebrations were on big time. I shot the hand and the flag in a rain of ticker-tape- confetti just after Nancy Pelosi (now in-line to become first woman speaker of the House) declared: “From Sea to Shining Sea the American people voted for change!”
