Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton : Syracuse NY

Todays the big day for the mid term elections! Some commentators are predicting a Democratic Party tidal wave…..other commentators I know are not so convinced and think the results might be a bit more of a roller-coaster ride! Here is Hillary out on the stump, she should romp home in the race for her NY Senate seat. She has more problems in positioning herself for a Presidential run against other Democrat’s like Barack Obama. She certainly works hard to meet and greet……she looks great if Bill isn’t around….. he really is just the most natural politician. Her campaign people were not very helpful…. they never did call back……suddenly I got a call “This is Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and Im calling you to……..” panic sorry what? Why is she herself calling me? then I suddenly realize…’s a recording! Its one of those robo calls…. on it she is asking me to vote for her!

  • I’m not American, I’m English, and divide most of my time between the UK and Canada, but I still feel a lot of anticipation about these elections. More than ever before what happens in America effects us all. I don’t think we will see a landslide win for the dems but they will make gains and those gains will hopefully roll on and put them in a good position in two years. They can’t make the world any more dangerous than it is now. I like the expression you caught here, she always seems to look this ingenuous in public yet still has this reputation for being one of the most calculating, and sometimes severe, modern politicians. The jacket pattern seems very agrestic and folksy but, like everything else, I’m sure it’s been planned and debated within an inch of its life. I’d love to see Obama on a Clinton ticket in a couple of years, though they fundamentally disagree on some things, but that’s not necessarily a barrier.

  • the first thing that caught my eye was the reflection on the almost fisheye shaped mirror earring she is wearing. I hate to be a pessimist, but even if the dem’s win, I still won’t forget that more than majority of voters (that voted) in this country voted Bush. TWICE. That scares me and makes me really question humanity. Sounds dramatic, but him winning twice really is bad news for the populations intelligence. God bless America (if I didn’t say that I’d be considered a traitor)
