This fantastic bright flame burning against a dark sky appealed to me. I spotted it as we rolled on by on the Amtrak train between NYC and DC. Really clever compositions of the outside view are not easy as you speed past in the train. You cant control anything you just wait decide and shoot very fast as the composition forms and dissolves almost instantly. You cant move your viewing distance height or position. Its maddening, but the discipline and restrictions of shooting from a moving train has a certain fascination for me and can be worth it.
