I have been hanging out at Heidlberg University today meeting way cool people and experiencing a bit of Berg Pride …… see above :-))))
Its a great place ….. fab mix of stuff happening here …… at one point I’m in a business class …. where everyone is “dressed for success’ ……. really looking the part of young executives …… looking way slick like venture capital investors ….. but then one of the slickest VC looking students suddenly throws into conversation her 20 goats at home how she loves them and slaughters them ….. for a minute I think we all holding the wrong scripts ….. hehehehe……… after my initial double take ……. I remember ….. agriculture is a big deal in this neck of the woods …. its perfectly possible to be studying high power business techniques and also caring for/farming goats :-)))))) XXXX

- Detroit is exactly what u r expecting if u read anything about its immediate history the center is amazingly smart looking and developed but it falls away so fast to urban blight with empty houses and abandoned industrial property in the blocks right next to the glitzy downtown development …… I knew that…… and yet its kinda shocking to really see it ….. but funnily enough …. there is still a vibrancy in Detroit that I like ….. hard to put your finger on it …… but yes ….. Detroit is kinda brilliant …… hope all is good mate ….,give me a shout if u feel like hanging on the roof of Soho House and u r in the right neck of the woods sometime hehehehe…..Cheers bro Jez XXXXXX
