The burning heat of the desert is already starting to feel unbearable the mosque is blaring out the traditional call to morning� prayer. I can hear the thud of the approaching rotors,� a� US military helicopter is flying low towards the settlement I make this picture just as the chopper passes� over the village and its mosque.
Where did I shoot this?…………Thats the question!
OK so its another Jezblog competition to win a 10″ x 8″ print………………. the most accurate guess wins………a name of a country will be trumped by the right country and right provence……. clearly the right country, provence and village name beats all that!

Er……I am not there now………. I shot this image about two months ago during one of my couple of weeks of being missing from the screens………..Im on the road in the UK and France for the next few days so hopefully I’ll be able to reply and post some more images from the mystery location and maybe some clues if you guys are all stuck!�

- Oh man, no one did ever reply to this, okay, I try to. I hope it is not too late. Anyway I know that I do not know the correct answer, you just made me google and search information and therefore I hope I gained some knowledge’s.
First guess is Iraq, Tallil Airbase, which is located approximately 310 kilometers Southeast of Baghdad and 20 kilometers Southwest of the city of An Nasiriyah. And the second guess is, well, there is not going to be another one 🙂
